New Project Photos: GRP Permanent Formwork on Breakfast Creek Green Bridge

We’ve added a fresh gallery of photos showcasing GRP permanent formwork for bridge soffits used on the Breakfast Creek Green Bridge in Brisbane, officially opened in February 2024.

This project demonstrates the high-quality finish that is achievable with Permadec. Installed from above, Permadec’s GRP formwork helped reduce installation time and improved safety by removing the need for access beneath the structure.

✅ Why GRP Permanent Formwork?

Permadec’s GRP formwork system offers multiple benefits for bridge soffits:

  • Clean, consistent soffit finish with no need for additional coatings
  • Lightweight panels simplify handling and crane requirements
  • 120-year design life for long-term durability
  • Custom-manufactured to suit skewed geometries and service penetrations
  • Top-down Installation – improving safety and eliminating scaffolding

Furthermore, the system is ideal for projects that require speed, precision, and minimal disruption.
